About the Coach

Justen Tehse

Baseball coach and middle-years teacher based in Lloydminster.

Justen has coached since 2022, including time with Carolina Elite Sports in Myrtle Beach. He currently leads a 15U AA Tier 1 team and previously guided teams to provincial championships at both 13U and 15U.

As a player he competed at 18U AAA in Saskatchewan, junior college in North Dakota, and NAIA in Michigan. He also trained at Carolina Elite Sports and as a Tread Athletics athlete.

In the classroom he teaches Social Studies, English, and Physical Education to students in grades 6–9. That experience shapes how he coaches: patience, clear communication, and meeting each athlete where they are.

Lessons stay flexible and player-driven. Justen focuses on strong mechanics, keeps the game fun, and helps athletes understand the why behind every skill.
